STUDY GRANTS AND THEME RESEARCH
The STIMA Project aims to promote study and research into security at sea to be carried out by both Scholarship holders, by means of a programme of work structured by the Scientific Committee of the project and with the help of Tutors, and by Researchers.

A total of 10 annual study grants have been assigned, which range from international regulations to the transport of hazardous goods, from the technological evolution in on-board command and control systems to the European Agency for Marine Security and from the professional training of se amen to the “Charter for Security at Sea”.

A further competition announcement aimed at public and private agencies and researchers has lead to the assignation of 10 research themes. The work carried out and the resumé of the authors can be seen in this section.
